How Much Does It Cost?

£25. 

A British Triathlon Race Pass is required for participants who are not a British Triathlon Home Nation member. For this event, Race Pass costs are £2.00 for participants aged 24 and under, and £8.00 otherwise.

What Age Category am I?

In line with British Triathlon age categories we take ages as at the 31 December of the year of the race. We accept children aged 8 - 14 on this date, 15 and older can take part in the adult event on the same day (with the parent's signed consent)

We will operate Female and Open categories in all age groups in accordance with BTF guidelines (read more here)

What are the swim & run distances?

• Tristar 3:

  • Swim: 400m - Run: 2400m (2.4k)

• Tristar 2:

  • Swim: 250m - Run: 1800m (1.8k)

• Tristar 1:

  • Swim: 150m - Run: 1200m (1.2k)

• Tristar Start:

  • Swim: 50m - Run: 600m

What Time Does it Start?

Registration will start from 11:30am, the race itself will start at 1pm,

The Swim 

The tristar(t) swim will be either 2, 6, 10 or 16 lengths of 25m (depending on age) swum 'Snake' style. (Snake style is up and down lane 1, duck under rope, up and down lane 2, duck under rope etc etc)

Transition 

Transition will be directly outside the pool accessed via poolside fire exit - Walk Don't Run!

The Run

The run section takes place in Gloucester Park, which surrounds the Sporting Village, south of Cranes Farm Road.It will feature an out and back course through Gloucester Park, starting and finishing at the stadium on the athletics track.

Prize Giving

Trophies are awarded in all Tristar(t) categories.

Please be patient at the end of your race; we can't start compiling results until the last person has finished then will need to deal with queries before announcing the providional results. Whilst we will award the trophies after the race, there may be challenges to those results which we will investigate before finalising the results, on this website, within 7 days. 

Trophies will be forwarded on if you are unable to stay for the prize giving.

Withdrawals

Withdrawals will normally be accepted up until 12 March 2023 with the entry fee refunded minus a £5 admin charge.
