Club Kit - Adding the Club Name

If you are ordering any new kit, Champion Systems are now offering an option to have EAST ESSEX TRI written on the front of all pieces of club kit.  However, if you already have a piece of kit and would like to add EAST ESSEX TRI to the front, then this can be carried out by Blade Printing, a premier company that specialises in printing on lycra as used by the GB Triathlon Team.

The cost is £12 per print plus postage, which is typically £3.50 each way for Tracked 48 for large letter size. The turn around is approximately 1 to 2 weeks. The procedure is very straightforward and will be personally dealt with by their Production Manager, Steph Tuckey.

To do this you will need to download Blade Clothing Print Form be clicking here

Fill it in with the details requested and, in the section, Logo Position and Colour put for the attention of Steph Tuckey, EAST ESSEX TRI.

Enclose the printed form in with your kit and send to Blade Embroidery and Print, FAO Steph Tuckey, Unit 3, James Farm, James Lane, Grazeley Green, Reading RG7 1NB.

It is up to you how you send it, but it is recommended that you use some form of tracked service such as Royal Mail Tracked 48.

Payment is not required up front, but Steph will contact you either via phone or email with the exact price for the printing and return postage.  Payment can then either be made by card over the phone, or via transfer. The bank details are on the form.

A few things to be aware of. Firstly, for items with a zip, they will try to print as close as possible, but there may be a slight gap either side of the zip.

Also, Champion Systems have advised that as the vinyl printing process involves pressure and heat, it may affect the material and invalidate their warranty. However, the samples we have had printed to date seem totally unaffected.
